Weigh-In Wednesday - Keeping in Control During the Holidays

Many of us are gearing up for four full days of fun times with friends, family and food! Then just a few short weeks later, we'll be entering into Christmas and New Years which are two other holidays that seem to be focused on the same three F's.

I thought I'd give you some of my own personal tips for how I keep myself in control during these festivities!  Here are my top 10 tips:

imprompTuesday - Baby Shower/Gendar Reveal Party

We had a wonderful time this past Saturday at our Baby Shower/Gender Reveal party. It was coordinated by my lovely Sister Sarah and my Sister-in-Law Jenni helped with the preparations.

They did an awesome job coming up with games and food AND my sister even made the cake!!! Yeah, she pretty much rocks. :-D

Our theme was, "What will it bee?" and they had all the items that matched the yellow and gray theme. Lot's of fun!

Check out some pictures from the shower and what Baby Perkins 2.0 is going to be inside:

Fitness Firday - The Walking Dead Workout

Hello All!! It's officially Friday and everyone should be excited because that means it's the weekend. :-D

I'm extra excited because tomorrow is the day we are having our baby shower for Baby Perkins 2.0 and finally get to share what we are having. Yippy!

For this weeks Fitness Friday, I thought it would be fun to share a Walking Dead Workout that I found on Pinterest.  My husband and I are fans of the show...it took us to get to Season 3 before we started to really devour the series and we still haven't caught up with the newest season just yet...however I know that Sunday's = the newest episode of The Walking Dead and for that I thought some people would appreciate this:

Well, you might appreciate it while reading...but probably not while doing. :-P Just think this is a 30ish minute body weight workout in one show!!!

The November Fit Bottomed Girls challenge is all about "Attitude of Gratitude". I'm very excited to participate in the challenges that I can. I didn't do much from this first week of November since I was still recoverying from last weeks craziness and had my not-so-fun doctors appointment on Tuesday, but I will share my first 10 things that I'm grateful for...a challenge from this past Thursday.

Take a look at what the November challenge entails, how I'm doing in our offices "Maintain Campaign" challenge and my initial 10 things I'm grateful for:

Sassy Saturday - Week 24 and 25 of Preganncy

Tuesday we had our monthly pregnancy check-up and it didn't go as smoothly as I was hoping.  As many of you might know, my blood pressure has always been an issue until the past 3 years. All of my check-ups showed me having phenomenal blood pressure, until Tuesday.  My blood pressure was slightly elevated at 138/82 and that had the doctor a bit concerned....

Regular Posts will Resume Saturday, November 7th

Hello to my amazing readers out there!!

Due to my crazy schedule last week between the conference, a full day of traveling to sales training and back and then a weekend out of town with my husbands family I have fallen behind in my posts. I will resume my posts this coming Sassy Saturday and will have a fun pregnancy update for Week 24 & 25. :-D

Looking forward to getting back into the swing of a regularly scheduled program and hope you all stay happy and active between now and then!
