This week our family will be enjoying:
- Monday: Taco Pizza
- Tuesday: Biscuits & Gravy
- Wednesday: Pork Stir-fry
- Thursday: Pork Loin w/Veggies
- Friday: Spaghetti
- Saturday: Tuna Melt Sandwiches
- Sunday: Mother's Day!!
Ingredients:
- Thin crust, whole wheat pizza crust
- Salsa
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 pkg low sodium taco seasoning
- Shredded lettuce
- Chopped tomatoes
- Sour Cream, optional
Instructions:
- Sauté the onion and set aside when done
- Brown the ground meat
- Once the meat is browned, drain any fat
- Stir the onions into the ground beef and set aside
- Brush the pizza crust with olive oil
- Put a layer of salsa on like you would pizza sauce
- Place the cooked meat on next
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and cook by the pizza crust instructions
- Once finished, place the shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes on top
- Serve with more salsa and sour cream based on preference
